vbing: kingleberry, based upon what I am reading here on the RT, Kings fans feel the same way ...
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 7:35:33 PM

kingleberry: Jeez based on anything i've read from San Jose side they think they already won this thing lol
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 5:11:49 PM

kingleberry: funny how every other game looks like a regular season game, except for maybe the Blues/Hawks last night.
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 4:25:17 PM

stephan: i couldn't agree more with your assessment! the thing that bothers me most about last night is that all the energy then went into matching the energy physically, hitting back hard etc., instead of making smart, quick plays...i thought our proven playoff team would be able to to that...
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 10:07:56 AM

Grinder: Sutter and the coaching staff did not appear to learn anything from the last regular season game in SJ. The team was not prepared to play such a physical game last night either. When guys start worrying about getting checked and are hearing footsteps, then mentally they're playing scared. They handled the puck like a hot potato - basically making a hurried crappy pass which set up a teammate to get hit because they too were fumbling around with the puck.
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 9:58:19 AM

Grinder: The Kings might leading in the playoffs anti-Jennings standings.
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 9:38:19 AM

5-Hole: after last night I am expecting the NHL to call and demand the Jennings trophy back...
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 7:35:00 AM

azking: Females do more "Blow By's," rather than carpet bombing. They just pass the air through a log in there and it stinks up the room but they don't claim it. Guys lift up a leg and go with a more torpedo move where the volume is loud and as long as it isn't hot it is more shock than awe. Vegetarians have the worst gas known to man. The more healthy someone is, the more putrid their product is. Azking has now spoken on his favorite topic.
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 6:48:12 AM

Grinder: This team is too slow. It allows SJ to forecheck, eliminate space for the outlet pass and bottle up the breakout. The passing isn't crisp enough to counteract it. There isn't enough overall team speed to make their D back off. Kopitar has no room to operate. Playing heavy doesn't work when you are chasing the puck and skaters who are faster than them. The style of play DL has built this team to be will have difficulty being competitive unless they increase their overall speed.
Friday Apr 18, 2014 - 6:27:05 AM

nocloutier: you're incongruent
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 8:07:23 PM

nobska: You're incorrigible.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 8:06:47 PM

nocloutier: i can tell ur buzzed nobbers.., you're not usually this loquacious
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 8:06:32 PM

nobska: Yeah right, most boys are babies when it comes to girl stuff. I really should be sober when I post here or we need an edit button.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 8:04:22 PM

nobska: Trust me, you're safe. And we don't fart, we fluff. ;-)
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 8:01:18 PM

naturallawyer: Freak out laughing.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:58:44 PM

nobska: Ha! See what I put up with. ;-)
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:58:13 PM

nocloutier: ld.. been this way for a while.. i called him out after the lockout and have been on his case ever since. I think he lost his passion after the cup... just a guess.. he's very bright guy, im sure he knows whats going on, must have other priorities
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:57:23 PM

stephan: Yeah, awful game...hopefully an anomaly because now is not the time to play your worst hockey
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:56:46 PM

lowdrive: Does anyone know what happened to Mike Richards? Did he make a deal with someone in '12 that if the Kings won he'd just stop being good? I mean, he's always been somewhat abused by the Sharks, but man..he looks like a 4th liner out there.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:55:23 PM

nobska: As long as you're talking about is poop it's fine by me. There are times you boys get off into other subjects, then I try and put on the blinders. I just want to point out if I went off on something related to female pooping you all would freak! Just saying.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:53:53 PM

nocloutier: he's a poo talker.. im a poo talker... its fun to talk about poop sometimes
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:49:19 PM

naturallawyer: Some perspective from the fancystats people: Andrew Lifland ‏@andrewlifland Kings put up a 32.3% Corsi close tonight. Their worst game all season was 33.3% (at Chicago). Second worst 38.1%. This was out of character.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:39:25 PM

nobska: It's on one of the commercials on the radio feed. It's referring to scoring a goal. Putting the biscuit in the basket, etc. But it just grosses me out for some reason.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:37:56 PM

naturallawyer: That's a phrase?
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:35:52 PM

nocloutier: ask azking about squee any else out
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:33:18 PM

nobska: This is totally off topic - but does the phrase "putting the kitten pass the kitten" squee any else out?
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:30:13 PM

lowdrive: Until a home team loses, I'm not going to get too excited about any of the games, win or lose.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:29:04 PM

Grinder: Toffoli has been rather ineffective lately. He needs to do power skating this Summer and bulk up a bit.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:28:47 PM

nobska: It's game one, it sucked but the series is far from over. Sunday should tell us a lot.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:27:47 PM

stephan: I thought they played better than Toffoli
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:27:23 PM

kingleberry: Odie saying there are much worse ways to lose hockey games than tonight. Kings sent a message.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:26:38 PM

nocloutier: i guess one positive is voynov got involved and scored.. i think he went 60 games without a goal this year
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:22:36 PM

stephan: What a stupid beer league game
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:21:15 PM

naturallawyer: It was as bad as you could imagine.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:20:14 PM

Grinder: That disastrous last minute of the 1st did them in.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:19:31 PM

kingleberry: I think that is a much better name than the Shart tank
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:13:49 PM

naturallawyer: One more Kings goal and SAP Center will be a septic tank. :-)
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:12:56 PM

nobska: I'm sure scribe did it on twitter, but does it still count?
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:11:22 PM

Grinder: I hope tonight's game at SAP Center was presented by Depends because a lot of Sharks fans must be close to crapping their pants right now.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:10:29 PM

naturallawyer: Well maybe you just reverse jinxed it. I tried issuing the Scribe-omatic reverse jinx earlier, we've still got a shot... :-)
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:10:03 PM

stephan: Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:09:34 PM

nocloutier: you just jinxed by calling out jinx
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:08:18 PM

nobska: Don't go jinxing anything.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:07:34 PM

kingleberry: i'm making Shark biting movements with my hands right now
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:06:42 PM

stephan: Mitchell has been awful and where is carter??
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:04:58 PM

naturallawyer: They're playing a little looser now because the expectations are gone.
Thursday Apr 17, 2014 - 7:03:43 PM
